FrogsFeet resembles but is not typical suction cups as they utilize a specifically designed “armature” (i.e., matrix) that alone cannot stick to anything without the addition of our annular seal made of an environmentally-stable, proprietary polymer. Equipped with this seal it will stick to just about any non-porous surface, smooth or textured, outperforming every other suction cup on the market. Further proof of FrogsFeet’s uniqueness is the manner in which they must be applied to a surface: press the center and hold while lifting the tab (like “burping” Tupperware®), then run a finger along the outer edge to firmly plant the seal. 

The armature’s patented features allow this exceptional performance: 

• The interior surface has a matte texture which is actually a system of micro-channels allowing suction to extend all the way out to the seal, increasing friction against lateral (sideways) movement. 
• The seal itself fits into a precisely engineered, square-shouldered recess that acts like a “mechanical stop” preventing the seal from rolling out of position under lateral loads and causing the vacuum to be lost. This gives FrogsFeet unparalleled resistance to lateral forces. 
• When a lateral force (or weight) is placed on its specially shaped hook the armature deforms in a predictable fashion to increase suction by pulling up on one side of the armature while compressing the opposite side even tighter against the surface onto which it is attached, further increasing resistance to slippage.
